I'm Still Unpacking

Ok so yeah not only have I not had time to turn my internet on, I also have not finished unpacking. Because I love to decorate it's more inportant to me that the room is decorated than organized.  To me the organization will come but the Décor must be on point from the jump.   So it's a slow but joyous journey.  Also to help I have been browsing my fav Organization Mag. Check it out it has some great ideas.

Hillman College.......It’s bigger than just a TV show




 It’s bigger than just a TV show…. Hillman College I remember growing up watching “A Different World” and imaging that one day I too would go off to college.  A Different World was my first glimpse into college life and showed me college is not dream that one has, but a reality.   My reality came true in 1999 when I was accepted into my HBCU of choice.  I still have the Cosby episode recorded on a VCR tape with Bill Cosby wearing my Alma Mater’s  sweatshirt….(Got to Love Him)

Now I am a sucker for logo tees so imagine my reaction when I found this  site http://www.hillmanbookstore.com/#!shop.  Yes……. You too can represent our first TV HBCU Alma Mater HILLMAN COLLEGE!!!

Okay while browsing one of my new idea site I stumbled upon this!  I must admit I am a cheepie.  But I have the drive to create or try to create the most amazing things.  Now everything that I see in my mind doesn't necessarily play out but I have the Vision....lol.  Now I LIKE IKEA and I remember when this dresser was $29.99.  IKEA has since raised the price to $34.99 and...and if people continue to make Absolutely Amazing things (like the picture below) the price will continue to go up. Great Job!!

My New Project

I couldn't keep it a secret any longer this is my secret...crickets...crickets. It may not look like much but baby wait until I finish. Once I move I am going to refinsh this and mount a Flat screen above it. Subber excited. At first I was going to stain it but then realized that the top and sides are not wood :-(  But that's okay I regrouped and found some inspiration on one of my Fave sites and a new Fave site called Pinterest.  Just you wait I have some Great ideas in store for this.  And...and it only cost me $20.00 on craigslist.



One of my favorite things to do (as you may know) is to decorate.  So because im moving next sunday I have been busy using the apartments room creator to determine the best layout for my new place.  I am downsizing a little but i'm not concerned because it was wasted space anyway. But the great thing is I GET TO REDECORATE and and they paint an accent wall for you.  YES! less painting for me. And with my new other project that I purchased on Craigslist (sshh...it's a secret)I will make the most of i.t

Talk About A Blow Out!

I recently seen a blow out picture of  Angela Simmons and I must say her hair is FIERCE.  I know she wears weave all the time but I think its great that under all that she has a healthy head of locks.

Obviously my blow out is no where near as big as hers......lol
